The Changes to Come

I feel it pertinent to write this. We are all struggling in some way. I see it. I hear it. You don't get it do you? We are a lost people, America!

We have forgotten what it means to be human. We spend so much time on the latest merchandise we forget the neighbor who lives nearby that is older and could use a friend.

We forget that people live on the streets homeless during Christmas time. How cruel it is that we should ignore human suffering especially right now.

So we can't solve all the problems in America! But we can actually make changes to ensure that homelessness isn't a paycheck away for our disabled and poor.

I refuse to sit by day in and out just play video games and ignore human suffering like im seeing all around me.

You are NOT alone dearly beloveds! You aren't! Please hear me.

We are all struggling together. I actually care about the elderly and the disabled and poor. I care that you had to skimp on lunch to make sure you had enough for dinner. I care that black people and Transgender people are homeless right now. I care that Muslims are still treated as terrorists to this very day!

We must put down our differences and look at what we do have in common. That's what we need. To come together and thrive.

I wrote to you from my bed with my partner curled next to me. Im safe right now. I want that for everyone in America.

My dream i plan to make a reality! One in which Trump is no longer followed and all the damage he's done is made up for.

I will break the chains around all of us!

I love you reader. Yea I do. Because I love all. And like Jesus and Martin Luther King Junior i will make sacrifices when I have to. I promise I will make America better for us all.
