Day 2: The Processing of Unchecked Presidential Powers

I looked over the article and I couldn't believe it. I was outraged by the what I read. "Impound funds and redirect them to other purposes? Oh so what other purposes? Like we are all dumb, fuck you Trump. I know what is going on. You think you are so smart. Well, first off, possessing broad authority to remove sitting federal employees without restriction is a questionable thing! I mean shouldn't there be a review process and inventory of what the employee is doing first before you straight up fire them? I really think this has not just gotten out of hand, its cruel and its targeted."

A 5'5" man stands before you, with short black hair, two black dragon horns on his head, deep green eyes, a black tattoo on his check, black leather jacket on his thin shoulders, a dark green shirt and black claws that flex when he's agitated. Around his neck is two necklaces. One silver with a silver dragon and a green gem and one that is a round symbol with three holes and spirals and several keys decorating it. His pants are black leather and his boots black army styled. Chains jingle at his pants and a behind him is a slender black dragon tail with a sharp dagger end.

His name is Arlo Tailsen Blaidwen aka Blackstrike. He is the captain of the ship. The course he has set his eyes on is to make America better. Improved. Changed forever. His heart is focused on the issues at hand. He closes his eyes in his desk chair made of oak and with a dark green pillow to sit on.

"What the American people need is more than inspiration. They need to see the clear implications going on. They need to see behind the curtain."

Arlo straightens in his chair. "What he uses is a shame to control others. That and charm through wealth and supposed Christian ideals."

Arlo spins his chair around. "What they fail to realize is the danger is lurking in unchecked powers. Trump seems to think he's untouchable. Unfathomable people seem to just capitulate to his demands like he's a warden at a prison. People need to see they don't have to listen to him. That they can, in fact, stand up to his tyranny and falsehoods."

"So where to start?"

A message appears from the fairy dragon that suddenly appears. The message says, "People need to be educated on shame and trauma. All of our mental health in the USA is declining fast. Reagan gutted the system that helps people to move forward. Why is it that American mental health is so bad? Is it the modern technology? Is it that fast pace, neglect your needs and wants to get a job done that is causing this?"

Arlo blinks. "Merlin are you listening into my personal processing in my room again?"

The message replies through the dragon, "Well yes, may I come over to help you process this and find a solution?"

I wasn't unwilling to invite Merlin over, I just hoped he wouldn't be so bubbly. Rather annoying from a such a chipper fellow. With a whirl and snap, Merlin appeared beside Arlo in the chair. His robes fell heavily and he smirked. "Hello!"

Arlo smiled. "Okay so how do we explain this to the American people so that they can understand?"

Merlin paces a bit. "Well shame is a pervasive emotion. So what the President is doing is a bait and switch. He throws all the suspicions and failings onto other people so that he doesn't look 'so bad' and doesn't have to face consequences. People aren't stupid but for some reason they are just doing exactly what he wants. Its like they missed the memo that the Constitution and Bill of rights does in fact limit Presidential power greatly. So what is that we are all missing? Its not money. Its not the agenda because we already know what that is. So, how do we wake the people up to the reality that hey this shit was made up to help people. We could simply make adjustments to the government that would actually help people not hurt them."

Arlo nods. "I think the other problem is fears of not having income. Of being fired. Of losing their job. That kind of threat makes many people scared and a scared person often choses to agree than stand up. So how do we help the fear that is riding in everyone's minds?"

Merlin sighs. "Well people love good stories. They love Marvel. They love dungeons and dragons. They love video games. They love art actually. They love movies. We need propaganda in favor of good things. Its worked before in history and it will work again!"

Arlo claps his hands. "Correct. So we need a campaign. We need notices sent out to everyone, everywhere that is supportive of getting back to democracy!"

Merlin nods. "Yes, so let's try and research some more about these topics so we are better informed. It will do no one any good if we don't know how to tackle these situations because we don't know enough about them."

"I agree. So back to researching how to tackle these problems at many layers of government?"

Merlin holds his hand out. "Yes, we can actually affect change. Its just going to take some processing and finding people. I know they are out there. People are seeking support. People are wanting a Revolution but we aren't there yet are we?"

Arlo snorts. "Actually we already are. People are just too scared to talk about it. Civil war. Revolution. These things haven't really happened in modern era. Nobody knows what that will be like. The fears and concerns are everywhere. Well some people are pretending like nothing is happening. That's not good."

Merlin sits on the edge of the desk. "Yes but we also need time to plan things out. We need to formulate a plan. So where do we start first?"

Arlo scratches his chin. "Let's start by reading project 2025 and making completely uno reverso to it all. Rewrite it."

Merlin sighs. "Guh that's gunna be a lot of reading and writing. You sure the Legion is up to the task?"

Arlo nods. "Yea, hold my boba. We are a entire Universe of people in one body. We can do it!"

Merlin snorts. "Alright then we have one direction to go in. Let's rewrite project 2025!"

The two shake hands. "So let's begin then?" Merlin pulls out a compass. "We got some time to educate on it then change it."

Arlo nods. "Alright, let's get two teams together. One will read. One will counter it on a Microsoft word document."

Merlin bobs his head. "On it!"

So thus begins the journey to create a new direction.
